New Construction

Connectivity Embedded from the Ground Up

New construction projects have a unique opportunity to get the technology infrastructure right. SecureVision partners with developers and general contractors to design, install, and manage fiber networks that are ready before the first resident moves in.

Greenfield

A technology partner built into your project pipeline.

The schedule for a new construction project belongs to the general contractor, and every trade follows that timeline. SecureVision works within that structure, coordinating fiber installation across the same phases as electrical, plumbing, and other low-voltage systems. Wiring is pulled before sheetrock goes up, and trim-out and equipment placement happen when the building is ready for finishing.

That coordination produces a property with fiber infrastructure already in place, a managed network ready for residents or guests from day one, and none of the retrofit complications that come with adding connectivity to an occupied building after the fact.

The SecureVision Difference

Built for New Development Projects

Designed from the Blueprints

SecureVision engineers the network from your building plans, selecting equipment placements and fiber pathways before the first crew arrives. Every unit is wired and equipped correctly the first time.

Coordinated with Your Trades

Fiber installation follows the construction timeline. SecureVision works alongside electrical and low-voltage trades, pulling wires in one phase and returning for trim-out and equipment placement in the next.

Ready When Residents Arrive

The managed network is live and optimized before the first move-in. Residents and guests connect immediately, and the property opens with connectivity that matches the quality of the new building.

Construction Phases

How Fiber Fits Into Your Build Schedule

The process follows the same general phases as every SecureVision installation, adapted to the cadence and control structure of new construction.

  1. 01 Engineer marking fiber pathways on building plans.

    Planning and Design

SecureVision reviews building plans and engineering specifications to design the fiber network alongside the building's other systems. Equipment placements, wiring pathways, and distribution points are finalized before construction begins.

  2. 02 Technician pulling low-voltage cable before drywall is installed.

    Rough-In with Other Trades

Fiber wiring is pulled during the same phase as electrical and low-voltage work, before sheetrock is installed. This stage is coordinated directly with the general contractor to stay aligned with the overall build schedule.

  3. 03 Technician installing network equipment in a nearly finished unit.

    Trim-Out and Equipment

Once finishing work begins, the team returns to place access points, install equipment, and connect each unit. This phase follows the building's floor-by-floor completion timeline, finishing units as they become available.

  4. 04 Technician testing network performance in a finished new unit.

    Testing and Go-Live

Every unit receives WiFi performance verification before the property opens. The managed network transitions to SecureVision's operations center for ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and the four-hour support response guarantee.

What Developers Say

Trusted by Developers and Contractors on the Gulf Coast

They showed up when they said they would and worked around our GC's schedule without any friction. That is rare.

Construction Review Topics

5 questions
Timing How early in the project should we engage SecureVision?
The earlier the conversation happens, the easier the integration. Engaging during the planning and design phase allows SecureVision to engineer the fiber network into the building plans from the start, reducing cost and complexity compared to layering it in after other systems are in place.
Coordination Who manages the coordination with our general contractor?
SecureVision assigns a project manager who works directly with the general contractor and coordinates with other trades on site. The GC maintains control of the overall schedule, and SecureVision adapts its work to fit within each construction phase.
Scope What types of new construction does SecureVision support?
SecureVision works across all multi-dwelling new construction types, including condominiums, apartment communities, HOA subdivisions, mixed-use developments, and hotel properties. The approach adapts to the specific building type and stakeholder structure of each project.
Support What happens after the build is complete?
Once the property opens, support transitions to SecureVision's Network Operations Center. The team monitors the network continuously, resolves most issues remotely, and responds within four hours when something needs attention. Field support is dispatched when a remote fix is not enough. The same managed service model applies from day one of occupancy.
Coverage Does SecureVision cover both residential units and common areas?
The network is designed to serve the entire property, including individual units, lobbies, hallways, amenity spaces, and any other shared areas. WiFi engineering accounts for every space in the building, not only the residential floors.
